It’s the conservative way, power and wielding it for as long as possible matters more than the country and displaying integrity and credibility. Wallpaper, covid parties and shagging his mistress whilst on the job and then trying to give her a cushy job. All these indiscretions didn’t finish him, it was backing someone who had allegations of sexual harassment that’s bringing him down. Depressing times.

If Johnson is ousted be in no doubt that whoever replaces him will be a right wing neoliberal nutjob.

Johnson is a populist, he's lazy, he holds no ideology greater than self-aggrandisement, but the next shit stain will come from the right in his party, and if they succeed in capturing No 10 things will go very badly for workers and the vulnerable.
