Badly. Any pressure applied would have completely knackered him. It reminds me of when he was the London Mayor and he told someone to ‘get stuffed’.

Perhaps, given the Scottish Tories sudden desire for open access to all advice given to government Boris should be pressed to release the advice, in full, he has been given regarding the Covid outbreak - in particular what did the medical experts say about Mr Cummings trip to Durham?
So his mistress has now run up a 200k bill refurbishing number 10 in her own gaudy style. He doesn't want to pay for it so tried to put in on the taxpayers, but was told 30k was the limit. So instead he tried to set up a "charity" for it so tory donors could pay for it. But apparently that's now been rejected as it would look like a bribe too blatant even for this government. Now he wants tory hq to pay for it. The whole thing is embarrassing, the fact the leader of the country has absolutely no control over his mrs, who seems to be a massive liability.
My son was one of those not helped; he had left his job shortly before lockdown have secured a contract to cater for a German company owner with an estate in Ayrshire; the family were locked down in Germany and so didn't come over. His previous company wouldn't furlough him (though they could have) and he struggled to get even universal credit. Fortunately he had savings (and refused our help) and moved down to Salisbury to his girlfriends.
After a few months he was able to find a job (from 300 applicants) heading up a unit supplying fine dining to private air flights. His "clients" have included Liverpool FC and United as they have gone on European flights. As the travel restrictions tightened they expanded their fine dining at home operations and have been kept very busy.

At PMQ I'd like to see Starmer accuse him of lying, get suspended, then every opposition MP calls him a liar, gets suspended etc etc
It's the only way to make it a news item for most of the UK media.

The speaker of the House needs to enforce the structure of respect for Parliament again, lying brazenly, not answering the question, using the platform of Parliament to make ad homien attacks on your critics, leaking everything from budgets to pandemic announcements. This government is badly neutering Parliament and setting a disgraceful precedent.
