context. can't see how he thinks this makes it better

If it's a choice between apologising and bullshitting, he'll always go for the bullshitting option. He thinks admitting he was wrong makes him look weak and would rather go for the gaslighting option even if it only works with his core support, relying on the fact that most pay very little attention to the detail.

What do you expect from one of the old Eton boys him and his chum Reec Mogg both coonts

Piece in the guardian regarding hard line brexiteer tory mp Steve Baker saying his party needs to reassess their stance on taking the knee and what the mission has been by the players. Now I'm glad someone has said it within their party but as I'm concerned if you've been listening to the players and read Southgate's article before the tournament you should already know. Plus commentators have been explaining it at the start of every game it happened so what's the excuse for still thinking the England team want to defund the police or support marxism....? Furthermore the only people who have been defunding the police are the tory government of the last 10 years who oversaw a drop of 20,000 officers since 2010.

In that guardian article is also a passage quoting a tory source that this culture war brand of politics is repelling people. Which doesn't come as a shock to me because this isn't America where issues like abortion and guns are election talking points. The culture war anti-woke crap is embarrassing.

At PMQs yesterday he couldn't even remember his own rehearsed soundbites.

Actually, that's a bit of a giveaway. He rehearses slogans rather than answering questions.

Starrmer once again put Boris on his arse, yet Boris will still be the one everyone votes for

Do not be surprised if abortion becomes an issue. Do not be surprised at all.

There were figures released recently that indicates the UK birthrate is now dangerously low, The birth across England and Wales fell by 3.9% in 2020 which now means our birth rate is at an all time low. This has been exacerbated by a rise in abortion attributed to covid and people being scared to bring children into an uncertain world.

As capitalism needs units of production (people) to prosper do not be surprised if the owners of Capital make abortion an issue so that there need for units of production are met.
