I’m watching Newsnight and a farmers representative is talking about having to kill their pigs and incinerate them. 600 have already been killed as there is an enormous shortage of slaughter house workers. It seems that the farmers raised this matter with Johnson himself 12 months ago!
Johnson tried to laugh this off on Sunday on Marr. He said that animals die when they get slaughtered. So that’s ok then.
This disposal of animals not able to go into the food chain shames the country.
