Laughable. The lengths they will go to in order to improve their public image. It's sad that people in his constituency still like him, after all he has done. The way he acted during the pandemic was unforgivable. The fact he still hasn't apologised and instead comes up with this fucking ridiculous argument that he wasn't aware what he was doing was wrong is a joke and shows what a detestable **** he is. I've got young children, and yesterday morning my daughter was punching my son in the face and when challenged said "his face was too close and in the way of my hand". Straight out of the Boris book! I'm fully expecting her to say "I was unaware I was punching him" the next time it happens.

I haven’t defended Johnson at all, and I’ve already said today that he has an issue with the truth, as everyone knows. I’ve merely stated that I wanted to read the report so that I can fully understand the findings before making any comment. This seems to be a very inflammatory approach for many on here, but that’s not exactly a surprise.

You are right however in that I’ve spent far too much time on here today responding to people and fielding insults. I generally work on the basis of replying to people - I’m very polite and courteous at heart - but again this has been time consuming, and I’ve got better things to do frankly.

Johnson seems to have a lot of popularity in the brain washed masses that voted for brexit and gave him a huge majority in 2019. No one else in the Conservative Party has that type of pull, they are facing the wilderness at the ballot box so anyone who reminds them of the good times will be thrusted to the front in who can be in charge.
