It should actually be possible under current laws. He just needs to be convicted of one of his crimes and get 12 months imprisonment. After that he can have his UK citizenship stripped due to him having an alternative because of his country of birth, meaning he wouldn’t be made stateless.

A little unfair on the Americans though as they already have their own bigger, even more obnoxious, more flagrant liar with a stupid barnet from New York.

He isn't a citizen anymore, (he gave it up to stop paying taxes on capital gains from property, but would have probably been forced into it as PM) but I think because he can reapply for it that your point still stands.

Yes, the point is that he is entitled to citizenship there which is all that’s needed to prevent someone becoming stateless.
The same argument was used in a British court much more tenuously for Shamima Begum’s entitlement to Bangladeshi citizenship.
