Why would the Eu believe it?
If he was crazy enough to do it.. would they simply let him? I doubt it

It's time for the idiots in our country to stop playing right into the EUs hands.. we need to stand together

Any message that undermines our stance has the EU pissing themselves. I get that the EU are pissing themselves anyway because we are in this predicament but this is not the time for division and the sooner these "educated" people stop fucking around with our futures the better e.g. Berscow and Gina Miller who clearly don't know the first thing about negotiation as they are doing their damnedest to throw away our only ace...

I must try and add punctuation next time!

Expecting agreement to stupid demands from someone stood at the top of a tall building threatening to jump is not a sound negotiating technique. Clearing the pavement below is the only thing that's likely to happen.
The EU know we're not going to jump, and if we do they will clear up the mess and carry on. Whereas we will be fucked.

Is this a joke.

Even in a no deal we have a piss poor negotiating position - worse than now, much worse. All that happens is mass delays and confusion at the various ports and our economy suffers massively while the EU economies suffer to a much lesser extent. We would be negotiating under a backdrop of manufacturing and other industries shutting down as they can't get parts / stock and they can't export. Farming would be non viable overnight without massive government subsidy and a process to make payments that does not exist currently.

The pressure would be on us to deal not the EU. The whole concept of no deal helping the negotiation is complete BS.

I see the liberal political commentariat have once again failed to do basically anything and are now acting surprised when this is what we've ended up with. It's like never treating the cause of a chronic illness and then acting surprised when it produces another nasty symptom. As far as I'm concerned Johnson is no different to May, no different to Cameron, no different to Blair, no different to Major, no different to Thatcher - they all come from the same crop, they all benefit from the same power structures, they're all protected by the same system. Until that comes down we have no right to complain whenever it inevitably produces another toff from the production line. Johnson is the Prime Minister Britain deserves. Forgive my misanthropic stance.

BBC treating as a coronation.... talking of him having a mandate and talking him up by interviewing mainly conservative activists... at least ITV is more balanced...
