If he was crazy enough to do it.. would they simply let him? I doubt it

It's time for the idiots in our country to stop playing right into the EUs hands.. we need to stand together

Any message that undermines our stance has the EU pissing themselves. I get that the EU are pissing themselves anyway because we are in this predicament but this is not the time for division and the sooner these "educated" people stop fucking around with our futures the better e.g. Berscow and Gina Miller who clearly don't know the first thing about negotiation as they are doing their damnedest to throw away our only ace...

I must try and add punctuation next time!

What is the UK's stance? Or more to the point what is Boris Johnson's stance?

Because it hurts us more than it hurts them. Much more.

Election, not through Johnson's choice but because he won't have an alternative. Threatening No Deal or WTO won't work.

Who says that WTO will be worse for us? All I have seen is speculation.. that's all there can be until we take that chance... they said that voting for Article 50 would kill the economy, the pound is suffering but is the economy or did I miss something?

An election will benefit us how? To give the voting public a chance to drive the final nail into Corbyn's coffin? Do you honestly think that the opposition could run this country any better in their current state? My belief is that any party with remain in their manifesto in the current climate has zero chance of being elected...

That is your opinion - not necessarily true.

Okay bozzer goes to the EU and asks for a different deal, the Eu have seen over the last 3 years roughly half the country want to remain or are bricking it, they see MPs will not vote or allow a no deal. The govt is held together by the slimmest of margins helped by the self interested DUP. The only people who can even threaten a no deal are the Eu themselves. Think about that only the Eu can do it. It’s like threatening a guy when he has a baseball bat and you are suffering total paralysis.

He has vowed to exit by October 31st.... I agree there is no real meat on the bones in terms of a coherent plan but that has to come doesn't it...

We will not be leaving on the 31st unless there is a signed agreement. The sooner people get this no-deal rubbish out of their heads the better

There won't be meat on the bones, either. Theresa May is a lot of things but I do not accept that she was that incompetent that something which took her 3 years can simply be done in a matter of weeks by the next PM

"no deal is better than a bad deal" has got to be one of the most politically damaging statements in the UKs recent history. Along with "Brexit means Brexit"

Well I would hope that for the greater good some of the obstructive remainers and mps would put the country first and stop blocking our negotiating position. I believe Boris has the force of personality to make that happen through sheer will and drive.

I would ask all who have criticised him on here today to get behind him - yourself included and let him unite the country and re-energise the country and move forward. Don't pre judge him - start to judge him towards the end of the year.
His force of personality will drive at least 2 or 3 tories to the Liberals, maybe as many as 6 I've seen estimated. After the Brecon by election their majority including DUP is only 3. 2 defections and their majority is wiped out even without rebels and his government is a dead duck. Negotiations are over it's WA as agreed by May with the EU with backstop, no deal which will collapse parliament, or election and new referendum.

We'll never know until we try it will we.... The doom and gloom is unbearable and I'm a pessimist FFS

The argument about the economics is no longer relevant, wto could mean we all shit good bars but the HOC will not allow it, they won’t even pretend like they should have done. That’s how utterly incompetent or deceitful our politicians are.

Victoria derbyshire has got 10 tory members on 5 for hunt 5 for boris.

Delusion on the state of the UK atm, they really think it is running ok and their shitshow party are doing alright , they just need to sort brexit and everything will be rosy.

2 of them are 17 and fucking clueless, those the elder ones aren't much better.
Hang on - you must hold a different view to most other critics of the Tory party/supporters

We have just had weeks and 100s of post pigeon-holing their supporters and members to be all Zimmer-frame users that watch WWII films on repeat

Now the criticism is that they include young people - but therefore, as they support the Conservatives, they are clueless

Does this not just smack of simply the need to hate all things Tory?

"Who says wto will be worse for us "

Crikey.

Even lots of the leavers on here agree that leaving on Wto terms will be detrimental.
