at least we know Corbyn wouldn't press the button - Johnson would just go into hiding it seems
The problem isn’t that we know Corbyn wouldn’t press the button, it’s that every other World Leader knows it too.

Fair enough, your post could be interpreted in more than one way and I interpreted it in a way that you didn’t mean.Yes it happened in the past and it didn't happen as May though it would, the Tories did not romp home against the old socialist fucker Corbyn, they were mistaken. The arrival of Boris has not changed that equation, it has not made Corbyn more or less electable
You stated....
I stated no.
I then commented....
"May seriously thought, as west didsblue still does, that the Tories would romp home past that old socialist fucker Corbyn."
You still think the Tories would romp home past that old socialist fucker Corbyn were it not for Johnson. You think Corbyn looks electable not on his own merit but only because of Boris, you stated that in your post, the corollary being that in the absence of Johnson, Corbyn would not be electable.
You believe that essentially Corbyn is unelectable and he can only be elected if the heavens align in a particular way inside the Tory Party, rotating around Planet Boris presumably.
I disagree, I believe Corbyn is electable, regardless of Boris.
The man, & most of his party members are all cnuts! No ifs, no buts. They've systematically destroyed the police, fire service, NHS, social care & mental health services in 8 years. He's a cnut, his mates are cnuts, his family are cnuts & anybody who has voted for this shower over the last 2 elections are cnuts.
Well that's alright then. If we won't press the button then we're not likely to suffer a pre-emptive strike to make sure we don't....The problem isn’t that we know Corbyn wouldn’t press the button, it’s that every other World Leader knows it too.

Correct.That’s not how it works.
If Russia or China knows by the time they have one in the air, they know we’ll fire one straight back, they’re not going to press ahead.
Following my endorsement of Team Rory last week, the boy is now second favourite. All is not lost yet. :-)
I agree, screaming about debates and cunts is all a good laugh, but the Tories know that appointing a remainerWhilst the PLP might give him the support needed, still doubtful, the membership won’t touch him with a barge pole.
Boris is the next PM it’s that simple.

I will leak a rumour that he was co-producer of Killing Eve. That should give him a further boost. False news can be a force for good.Telegraph must be concerned. It’s been championing Johnson and is reporting accusations today that Stewart had links with MI6 and might have been a spy.
I suspect that you are correct. It’s not that I am a Tory. Just that Rory seems the most sensible and least bad to become next PM.Whilst the PLP might give him the support needed, still doubtful, the membership won’t touch him with a barge pole.

It’s a daft spy series.Strange one, because he’d be bound not to speak about it, so it leaves a vacuum for the media to speculate. That can be positive and negative.
Don’t know what Killing Eve is. :-(
As a brexiteer I obviously don’t agree with Rory on that issue but that aside, he comes across as the most likeable of the lot and can see why he would gain support.
I’m no Tory either so brexit aside and wanting a PM who will deliver it I’m not interested who gets the gig but it’s a done deal for Boris by the looks of it.

will mean their demise. The PLP is dominated by remainers, yet even most of them have realised this, hence his lead.

There is a lot of opinion on this thread and not much fact but I can state with absolute certainty that no-one from the PLP will vote for either of them.I agree, screaming about debates and cunts is all a good laugh, but the Tories know that appointing a remainer
