I think you mean he is an elected MP for his constituents, he was also elected as the leader of his party.
However nowhere on my ballot paper did it state you are voting for Boris!

As a country we voted a majority victory for the Conservative party, and not just the one person.
So if the leader of that party should be taken ill, then it is only right that for a period of time, the Conservatives Put forward a replacement to deputise Until his return.

I think you’ll find the conservatives have signed him off! That’s why there is someone in place deputising for him.
 
For everyone on here who doesn’t understand the role of prime minister,
“It is the elected head of a Political party”
As such the party are the leaders of the country, and not one person, we are a democracy and not a dictatorship.
 
When this is all over, Boris Johnson and his mates in government need to be held accountable for this, thousands upon thousands of ordinary people condemned to death by the ineptitude of our elected government. You only have to look to Germany and compare how they have handled the epidemic, the difference is simply staggering.

What would you have done differently?

Are you telling us the thousands of deaths in Germany are nothing to do with their government but our are responsible for all of ours, albeit us having more?

I do blame the government for some things but it’s no good engaging in hyperbole without giving specifics.
