The thing is he can recuperate as long as he wants, but he is the Elected Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and we as a nation have not heard or seen him since last Sunday.
I think you mean he is an elected MP for his constituents, he was also elected as the leader of his party.
However nowhere on my ballot paper did it state you are voting for Boris!
As a country we voted a majority victory for the Conservative party, and not just the one person.
So if the leader of that party should be taken ill, then it is only right that for a period of time, the Conservatives Put forward a replacement to deputise Until his return.
