You may think you’ve made a lot of good points there but you haven’t.

No patient has gone without a ventilator in hospital (unlike Spain and Italy) as we’re well below capacity.

Germany have had less deaths but also far fewer have had it across the populace. You can only judge UK against Germany when everything’s finalised and finished in about 18 months time. They’ll have to come out of lockdown at some point.
You may think you’ve been clever there, but you haven’t.

The point is not about whether we ran out of ventilators or not.

The point is, they were on the radio begging for ventilators.

They were begging for ventilators because they weren’t properly prepared.

They revised the budget up 20x because they weren’t properly prepared. Boris was shaking hands with Covid patients because he wasn’t properly prepared. ICL projected 250k would die if they followed their initial strategy.

Not running out of ventilators doesn’t mean the initial preparation was correct. But thanks, though.

Sorry to butt in but that isn't right, until right now it was a very small number that got tested,if the others got ill it was assumed they had it too and so when they died covid was mentioned on the death certificate and they got counted, because of this we will never know how many actually had it as some drs might have mentioned it and others haven't,you could add or subtract any number from the ONS figure
As I've said a couple of times, the numbers will eventually come out. What I'm saying is correct.

No country European was “prepared” and Boris had been elected to office about two weeks when CV19 was discovered.

Did the UK run out of ventilators? No. So not sure why you’re again trying to beat them with that stick.

He’s handled it very well and no one could ask for more support with regards schemes like furloughing etc which no govt in history have tried.

Only way to get a fairly accurate result is to wait and check the rate against monthly averages as our very own Mr Whitty keeps telling everyone that asks.

A lot of hate on here for Boris et al, lets put it into perspective if the GE would have gone the other way. Corbyn the commie got CV19 and Dianne Abacus Abbot took over in her capacity as foreign secretary as stand in PM.... I ask you just think about that for one minute, then in comes Chancellor John who decides rather than furlough business to save jobs just gives money away to anyone who writes a letter especially those who have never paid into the system saying we voted Labour so give us your money. Better the devil you know eh.
