Alexandole Boris de Pfeffel Johnson

No Sunak will do poorly in the North, his recent geographical masterclass is a case in point.

However, the Conservatives and the media will be thirsting for someone clean cut, family man who won't attract scandal. Sunak fits that bill. If the papers get behind him he has a shout.

Truss's big advantage is that she has now become the face of global Britain, all trade deals small or just rollovers give her momentum. Without that crutch I don't think she can do it. In leadership campaign I think she gets exposed.
Tories will get behind whoever they think will win. Maybe Hunt. He came a lot closer to bj than I thought he would.

Sunak is MP for Richmond here in N Yorkshire - however his weak spot for me is the South of the country where the "creative industries" are concentrated and for which he has done fuck all through the pandemic support.....the gamble that Johnson has taken is that he can ignore the base in the South as being Tory heartlands and he has courted his new Brexity fan club in the North. The issue that they have is nothing is getting any better in the North as a result of Brexit and the indicators are as of the New Year they are going to get worse - Labour took its base in the North for granted and paid the price - if the Tories do the same in the South they face a similar fate

By way of explanation I used to live in Bournemouth and Christchurch and I have former colleagues who live in Kent and Croydon and Brighton etc.....the one's in Bournemouth can't see why we moan about HS2 getting cancelled here in the North - they want their rail connection with the capital improved - and don't mention rail in Kent or Sussex - for the most part they are seeing a bit of austerity biting there coupled with rising prices and in all those areas there is a feeling the North is getting all the love and the £££££££ - they don't realise they are now in our world and you wonder how they were protected and how Johnson thinks he can survive ignoring the base

The only tool that any future Tory leader has to keep the “red wall” Brexit vote it needs is to keep throwing petrol on the flames of the culture war. Christmas is always a good time and they’ll be planting a few stories about the banning of Fairytale of New York or Do They Know It’s Christmas or even better a Nativity or two to get that base riled up.

Boris is done for. He's like our Ole was in his last few weeks.

I won't be surprised if he isn't in charge at Christmas.

A massive increase in jabs. Unfortunately they didn't tell anyone. Our local surgery and vac centre were not forewarned and have been given no information.

Our surgery like many has gone into meltdown over this and are not taking appointment over this. Apparently when the bungling idiot decided to post a video media involvement who could perhaps clear some of this no one got the memo. He literally farted that out a video last night and the shit has hit the fan creating absolute chaos.

so a month ago when getting the job Javid was slamming GP's saying they weren't doing their jobs now today he is having to beg GP's to haul his bosses fat arse out of the flames
