I take a slightly different view.

I think he’s hilarious and a proper character. He’s the kind of posh bloke who would do well in northern pubs or cricket clubs, winding up the locals.

I don’t hate him as a man, I hate him as Prime Minister. His characteristics aren’t fit to represent the country anywhere near at that level and it’s quite embarrassing the stuff he comes out with.

He’s also so untrustworthy in every aspect of his life, it’s genuinely a worry on a day to day basis with him in charge.

He needs to host QI, not host climate summits or world leaders.

There’s some evidence to suggest he has previously harboured racist thoughts, especially in his writings.

Although having the most ethnically diverse cabinet in history suggests he’s either doesnt feel that strongly or doesn’t anymore.

It is somewhat humorous but not for a Prime Minister.

If Jeremy Clarkson said it, you’d roll your eyes and laugh a little.

When your leader says it at a climate summit, it’s a tad embarrassing.
