Alexandole Boris de Pfeffel Johnson

Hopefully Johnson will have decided he can't survive on a PMs salary by the next election and would have stood down. The thing is he can just bumble along in second gear as Labour is on its arse.

My choice for next Conservative leader....Priti Patel.

Never ..... the Tory members would never allow Patel or Sunak to become PM ...

Surely Sunak is nailed on? At this point he looks far more likely to be the next PM than anyone in Labour.

If you want to know why they'll never get the job.... the word begins with R and ends with M.

More likely to be Rees Mogg or Gove.

Acuri admits she had a four year affair with Boris. 40 Grand a year of London taxpayers money whilst fucking her.

Colour me shocked...

the worst kept secret is out - his inability to maintain fidelity should be his downfall yet surprise surprise this doesn't make Sky nor the BBC nor ITN web pages yet some obscure Scottish MP defecting from the SNP to Alba is big news it seems

35?

Tough paper round etc.

I usually think the BBC are for the most part impartial. But the absolute lack of coverage of this on Marr or the BBC website, especially as it is almost certain he breached the Nolan principles by giving this woman money and access, is worrying.
IMO impartial is the wrong word for the BBC.
Their mainstream reporting of news is dominated by the power dynamics in the country at the time and public opinion and the reality that their funding is always dependent on the Government of the day.
So if the Government is 'strong' and popular and is a threat to their funding ( or in extreme case their very existence) and the Opposition is weak then the balance of their mainstream TV reporting will be pro Government ( but ever so subtly).
And if you reversed the above factors then their mainstream TV reporting would be anti Government ( but ever so subtly).
In other words they are timid in their mainstream reporting.
They are much more radical in their off peak TV news reporting ( Newsnight,Panorama) and on the radio.

The full Nolan principles didn't quite make it into the London mayor's code of conduct.

This Arcuri story ( nice bit of rhyme there) still has some way to run particularly on the sponsorship money her company received.
As for Patel, I can't see the Tory membership or the powers that be in the Tory party accepting her.

Just want to say that I utterly despise this man. If anyone genuinely can't see why he's a sorry excuse for a human being, chances are there is no hope for you. The latest scandal that the fucking idiots in this country won't even bat an eyelid at. Literally giving over £100k of taxpayers money to yet another mistress. Jesus wept. Countless affairs. Countless lies. Countless bigoted statements throughout his career. Insane incompetence. Fuck him and everything he stands for. Makes my blood boil that people this pathetic get this far, and people cheer him along. Depressing.

Anybody else thinking Tories looking to kick Bozo into touch and will have a campaign to get rid of him before getting an electable replacement?

They had him as Brexiteer in Chief and he played the part.

Can't help but think this is a planted story and more to follow in next 3-6 months once the Battle of Covid has been won.

Always question the truth.

See my earlier reply. Patel is very popular with the membership and I reckon she'd get a big chunk of that vote. I'm not sure how well she'd do with the Parliamentary vote though as I've no idea of her support there.
