Corbyn was unelectable because the press, from their offshore havens, told us so.
Broadly true, it became a self-fulfilling prophecy, but it wasn't helped by internal party bickering and Corbyn's failure to reach across the progressive spectrum. Obviously there were some people who would never have accepted that such as Berger, Smeeth, Streeting and Swinson, for their own cynical reasons.
Without enough support from Liberals and greens to tactically vote for you in marginals rather than against you- Labour will never be able to form a government.
From 2017 onwards his office went back into their limited idealogy rather than coming out with radical and realistic policies and pushing them into the public sphere for long enough before the election.
Obviously Brexit limited the ability to do that, plus the age demographics are always against that platform in FPTP system.
