She does indeed but I think it goes much higher than her. The Mail seems to be on Johnson’s back every bit as much as the Guardian is and they actually are getting the scoops. The rest are just following the Mail lead.

Gove is a bigger idiot than I thought he was if he thinks he still has a chance of the leadership.

Here's our Eton Trump and there will be significant research committed in the future about how Johnson was able to dupe the public to forgive him for literally anything.

I've got my own theories. One is Brexit of course. To admit that he is all the things he is, namely self-serving, incompetent and perpetually dishonest, is to admit that you were duped into believing in Brexit, because he has always been the driving force and living embodiment of it. People have come to far to admit that about themselves. I'd also throw into the mix the huge indifference that the majority of our population have to day--to-day politics. They simply don't read enough or care enough about the sleaze and the errors to look into them. It is noise to them. The sycophantic media is a factor too, and that is also directly related to Brexit. I also think his enduring popularity is partly down to a slide in moral standards over the last few decades. Many people don't judge his character or question his judgement on the fact that he jumps from family to family, leaving chaos in his wake.

One thing's for sure, we have never had a more unsuitable PM and we have never needed a good one more. I don't even care which party it comes from any more. Teresa fucking May looks statesmanlike compared to the current gaggle of Vote Leave thickos and lickspittles.
 
Moral standards? I found a Tory voter on the doorstep last night who criticised Starmer for apologising for going to the homophobic church, but had no problem with a lying adulterer living with his mistress in 10 Downing Street.

He's given the green light to "I can't call him a liar, but I don't think he's telling the truth". The problem is that it can no longer be assumed that a minister lying to the House will resign, so the rationale for not calling a minister a liar has gone.
