As for removing the whip from Ellwood, it seems that missing an unlosable vote when away on important government business registers as a bigger problem with Johnson than sexual assault (Pincher) or fraud (Paterson). No real surprise there.
looks like a misjudgement too, as a lot of journalists are putting the boot in over this.
