This thread is as independent as the editor for BBC News 24...

I think the thread is fairly independent.
It's not especially impartial because there's a clown obfuscating and being disrespectful of a committee and their questions. If he'd told the truth or corrected the record, then it wouldn't be happening but... vanity.

Hopefully the clowns that voted for this man can now see him for what he is, I've lost count of how many jobs he has been sacked from because he was caught lying and how many partners he lied to and got caught, a compulsive narccistic liar. Just shoot the ****

It doesn’t matter if they do see the light now. They’ll still fall for the next snake oil salesman to turn up.

This reminds me of the trump nightly briefings during covid , fun to see the squirming and bollocks being spoken tinged with sadness that they both ignored the seriousness of the subject and hundreds of thousands of people were dying every day and they both didnt give a shit
Some criticism is that they gave too much of a shit.
All opinions and political free hits this Kaz. It can be whatever the viewer/reviewer wants this sorry saga.

I think i have the gist of his arguement , it wasnt me and i couldnt use my extreme interllect to recognise they were parties and spot alcohol in peoples hands and on the tables and think this is not right and to!d them to disperse as per MY rules

To pardon the phrase Johnson is having his bollocks nailed to the floor and this no win situation for anyone. Its all about making the shit stain on our society accountable for his actions.

Neither gave a shit , they were both saying it didnt exsist and would go away in a minute , trump was worse in some respect but both of them were saying and doing the same things , if you had watched trump every night like some of us did in a thread similar to this in fact then you would have seen that disgrace in action and boris parroting him as well

These parties were a disgrace and he knows it and is lying his arse off here , there was no drinking in hospitals to boost morale , why the fuck was there under his watch

Since day one, double speak.

I am very clear what the rules are. You must follow them.
Do the rules apply? Sometimes. It depends on what works for me.

This is not about much more than that, never was with Boris. That's why we got taken to the brink.

It will never be wrong for some people. And there's an element of honesty in their view. Rules often do apply but don't. You should just not push it this far, or allow someone who will push it like that to get in charge. He's more or less the same as Blair in his approach, at the end point of how flexible they believe we should be with our definition of honesty, words, truth. He just pushes it all the time. And in service of himself without regard to the people. People are there to be used, their naivety, hopes, dreams. Who cares? The only reason he thinks about those things is because they are profitable for him. Health, sustainable economics, education. Those things are not profitable for him.

Which is why he is different to Blair. Blair delivered economics and services. And Blair would always leave eventually. Boris dgaf about that! Leaving the trough? Same category of thought as "delivering for anyone apart from people who he needs". Not profitable. No matter the cost to our country. Of course he'd install himself as unelected and impossible to remove. Forever. If it meant the end of democracy, he'd regard himself as a historic hero for breaking up the system. Democracy only matters to him because it's profitable to him.

There's nothing more to him, than him. He'll demand the life, the prestige, the honors, the protection, the status, the birds, the favours, the scummy money, without any principle, he'll defend his right to those things without any scruples whatsoever, and he'll do it forever, and if the country, nay, the world suffers enormously as a result, it's no skin of his nose, in fact, he's long ago accepted that's how it will happen. It's his right to profit from it.

He never delivered economically or socially and every win was a big failure with a little save rebranded. He set us up for years of misery. It was always on the cards. Because in his mind, today is always about saving and protecting Boris. Bigging up Boris. And tomorrow? The future? Well, obviously, Boris wants more for Boris. As much as possible. Nothing else really matters.
