Alexandole Boris de Pfeffel Johnson

Interesting theory.

I'd also suggest that Blair had Brown and Mandelson who could tell him to stop.
Johnson was surrounded by yespersons.

Of course he was surrounded by yes persons, after all,his "popularity" with the electorate was the reason they were in power.

They knew all about his many shortcomings but were still happy to prop him up while he was still seen as the charismatic man of the people.

Wankers the lot of them.

Could not bear to watch the lying toad again with that fucking stupid sickening hair. The sooner he disappears the better.

So this clown's defence is that he was not told what he was doing was wrong. So how come 90% of the population knew the rules but he didn't.

Did himself no favours when at the end he basically said he would "rate" the impartiality of the committee and whether he would adhere to any punishment depending on their verdict - he is a contemptuous oaf

Hmmm not so sure, the waters may have been muddied just enough.
Hope you are right though.

He’s not really muddied anything.

it only takes 3 things to prove this, which we have seen.

1 - him giving the guidelines at the lectern.

2 - the photos from inside no. 10

3 - the video of him lying to parliament.

There’s really nothing else to it, and it doesn’t matter how many times he obfuscates or waffles or loses his temper, he’s guilty as fuck and everyone knows it.

This simply comes down to how many of his cronies want to go down with the ship. The whole thing will probably be based on some emergency polling data this afternoon.

It's a sad state of affairs that there is no accountability with any of our politicians right across the board. Profumo lied to parliament but at least admitted it after and resigned now they just keep telling lie after lie no matter how ridiculous it sounds. If you wanted to be extremely generous to Johnson and say he misunderstood the rule at that time surely he should still accept that as PM in not knowing he failed in his job and should have resigned from politics. It's depressing to see other politicians defending him they are just mocking the public now.

I think nearly everyone gets it now but if there’s anyone still out there who thinks Johnson should get away with playing fast and loose with Covid regulations at the height of the pandemic then lying about it they should read the whole of this thread.
