Sworn in as congress woman yesterday and really seems to put some kind or fear or resentment from republicans, like they are scared of a young, left leaning(in american terms), enviromentaly aware, passionate woman is, along with some oters in the new members are gonna destroy their stuffy old mens system.

I find her quite refreshing and her support for free tuition for all, more rights for Puerto Ricans, medicare for all and other social policies only positives for america.

Also I love that she isn't arsed at the shit thown at her like this nonsense where some republican journo tried to shame her for dancing

America needs younger more diverse people in politics imstead of the old cliques imho

A refreshing change from the male elderly white millionaires who seem to rule the political roost. Wasn't she the one who couldn't afford to live in D.C. until she started getting paid? So hardly from a privileged background either.

I am hopeful with her, she represents a marked change in American politics for as long as I have followed it. Either she will cave into the mountain of lobbying cash that has turned DC into a cesspool or she will be a part of the new wave of representatives to clean it up. Her energy is great and couldn't come at a better time
