Thanks, I do try and be respectful and thoughtful on here. After seeing some of the others, can appreciate how fans of rival teams can come across.

Think my post above covers what you were asking. If at the start of the window you could say to me, ok you lose Sanchez but you can strengthen the team by signing Lacazette, Lemar and say Goretzka (however unlikely), I'd probably accept that. The problem is we always seem to leave ourselves a position or 2 short of real quality.

Despite what some of our fans think of Arsenal fans in general, there have been some decent Gooners posting on here down the years. You're spot on and Ronuja was a good poster too. AwayDay isn't that bad either. I also think it's unfair to judge an entire fanbase on the basis of a few idiotic comments posted online. My own experience of Arsenal fans is that in the main they're a not a bad bunch. Had a good chinwag with a few after the FA Cup semi about Wenger, Kroenke, etc, and while most were in the Wenger Out camp the criticism was mature and constructive. Proper old school fans and as far removed from the "Tarquin" persona that often gets bandied about.

With regards to Sanchez, I think things will become a bit clearer once he returns to the club from his break.
