Arse just fucking about imho.

Don't offer the ****s anymore money, time to sit and wait. They'll be in contact later tonight or be left with a really fucked off Alexis tomorrow. Bet the Chilling manager and fans aren't happy with Arse either.
They are in deep shit regardless .... what would you do? They lose no credibility from this Lemar smokescreen... so why not fuck us about

Leaving it so late by us ( if we did ) has given some power to Arsenal when in reality they should have none

So the timeline is we checked out whether Sanchez would be interested ages ago.

Asked Arsenal to keep us informed. Which they did a couple of days.

We made an initial offer which was rejected.

Then according to sources on here and elsewhere Arse accepted our second offer.

Then suddenly Arsenal made it all conditional on getting Lemar in. Which given Monaco have sold half their team this summer, was always a longshot.

Seems odd unless Arsenal are deliberately trying to fuck us off.
I tend to agree with the theory that Arsenal is desperate to make a show of this to keep the majority of their fanbase quiet and continuing to spend.

I'm not so sure. In an ordinary transfer window and with level headed protagonists, maybe. Unfortunately so incompetent has Arsenal's handling of this window been, and so deluded has Wenger become, that a demented attempt at a perceived 'face save' by hanging on to a player, who will be pissed off beyond belief, wouldn't surprise me in the least.
I've no great love for Arsenal, but I feel for you as a fellow football fan. We had 20 years of penniless fuckwittery under Peter Swales, but in the modern era the way your club is being run is downright embarrassing

I think we totally see eye to eye here. It's a shit show at levels that are almost beyond belief. It's so fucking bad that keeping Sanchez and throwing away 60m is a win in their eyes! I think that's their best option too! Laughing my ass off today.

It'll get done at 75m you think?

If we don't sign him tonight, i don't think it will happen ever.
Once he becomes a free agent the world is his oyster and he will go off somewhere and earn 1/2 a million+ per week.

Really?!

So Arsenal been trying to flog him all summer for less money clubs offering him stupid amounts and he still at Arsenal, he was waiting for our bid do you wonder why that is?

As fascinating as that is spending our time guessing who said what, why and how accurate the multitude of reports are either Arsenal will sell him at a price that is agreeable to both parties or they will be stupid and we won't get him. As far as I'm aware we have made 2 bids very late on. The truth is he will either be confirmed by the club or txiki has dropped a bollock.

Roll on the deadline as it's getting a tad tedious

You can only bid if the club involved will listen to it.

We have been told all summer they would not. Same with Ox.

Suddenly, both are involved in bids. Something at Arsenal changed.

Look. It's very simple. We want him but it won't be the end of the world if we don't get him. The reverse can be said about Johnny FUCKING Evans.

Sanchez has had a medical and has agreed personal terms. Arsenal agree in principle to sell him to us, fee to be negotiated. All this done under the media radar as they, and the ITK's on here, know fuck all about out transfers unless the club tell them.

Will he come? Down to Arsenal weighing up the pro's and con's of letting their star player go to a rival. Whatever happens Sanchez has and will remain professional. He's that sort of player.

Lemar? Not a like for like swap so I don't see his future deciding Sanchez's.

Now...stop flapping* you twats.

*Flap if Johnny FUCKING Evans joins.

Wise words - especially the bit about JFE!

Unfortunately there are a few posters who would rather be caught on camera at the cup final refusing to stand for the national anthem rather than be heard expressing a positive opinion about our club. City did NOT leave it too late, Arsenal accepted our bid - so I see no reason to increase it - but appear to have made acceptance conditional on their getting ing a player they have not bid for! We can all speculate on their motives, but in no way are City at fault if Arsenal do refuse to sell. If that does turn out to be the case the only result will be the continuation of a management vacuum at the Emirates with an increasingly unhinged Frenchman making all the decisions. So our sour faced moaners might like to explain their warped view of our executives.

Hope we don't have to deal with Arsenal again for a very, very long time. This was unpleasant.

It's off, according to every reliable website. ;-)

They know jack s***!

can you send me this page?

They already have a replacement in Lacazette. They have enough strikers without Sanchez. Why do they need a replacement for Sanchez yet they have no such concerns regarding Chamberlain and Mustafa?
