Alexis Sanchez

He is coming along nicely, but I would seriously doubt Sterling ever reaches Sanchez heights. As I said, I do rate Sterling, but I think Sanchez is brilliant and I always have done. He would improve our team tenfold.

He would improve our team by his scoring ratio, but we already have pretty good options so far as the other stuff he does & he isn't te only player we could sign.

I can take or leave him personally, good as he is. I just prefer him not to sign for a rival here.

Mbappe would be my first choice hands down, but Sanchez is my 2nd choice. I just think if we signed him, he would give us thay impetus and endeavour up front we sometimes lack on a consistent basis. I really rate our attacking line-up but too many times this season we have not been ruthless and clinical enough in front of goal, pep has complained about this all season. Sanchez is a killer, he only needs a sniff at goal and its game over. He is a player who would deliver on the big occasions in the very big games, Sterling although young and promising for me does not guarantee that. He sometimes goes missing on the big occasions.

The Soccer Saturday lot apart from Le Tissier are completely clueless to be fair.
All of the experts are, they're just offering opinions based on fuck all other than playing the game, like the rest of us. Professional scouts, people who make a living on their judgement of players, have absolutely raved about Sterling since he was a kid, I doubt you'll find many to come out with a sweeping statement like the one you made though.

Sane and Sterling are both fantastic players but Sanchez is a different animal altogether.

With the chances we create, our wide attackers should be scoring double figures in the PL and neither Sterling or Sane have done that.

If Sanchez is available then it's a no brainier to bring him in. He'll guarantee 20 goals and it will put pressure on Sterling and Sane to be more consistent.
Agreed great post.

Gary Neville for a rag talks sense, Jenas seems to know what he is talking about, Jamie Redknapp is ok and Thierry Henry generally talks sense. Carragher in patches.

Having said that, quite a few of them are tits.

Gary Neville has just put DeBruyne in his team of the season and not included David Silva. But other than that, he's usually decent.

He's swallowed a coaching manual & thinks that means he's Alex Ferguson.

Rooney 'failed to execute' on one occasion Sunday.

Failed to fucking execute. I bet all those terms he's learned went down a treat in Spain.

The reason our wide players don't score enough is the full backs.

The wingers should head inside in the final third when the full backs overlap to keep the width, and then they can get goals.

As pep has said our fullbacks this season just can't do it, so the wingers have to stay wide and keep the width to our play even in the final third which makes it almost impossible for them to get into the box and score a lot of goals.

Bingo.

Well, we should. Sanchez is most probably leaving Arsenal. Clubs that are really monitoring his availability is ManUtd, PSG and Bayern. Read a lot of BS from SUN, but I don't buy what SUN sells.
