There is huge risk in waiting til next season. Arsenal could persuade him to sign an extension so there's no guarantee of getting him for free anyway. Plus, say, god forbid, we don't win a single trophy this season, maybe Pep goes at the end of the year, then what, Sanchez won't come.
If it's possible to get it done in the next 10 days, I say do it.

I'm very confident he'll join. Just my opinion but he'll be a City player I'm sure.Lead to believe the feeling amongst our own playing staff is that this is a matter of time.
