Bayern's record signing is Javi Martinez for £35m. No way they pay 50m for Sanchez in the last year of his contract. They are probably offering around 30m. Also where does he fit in there, Bayern have Ribery, Robben, Coman, Costa. They would have to sell one, probably Costa.

Kroenke will prefer to sell to us for 50m even if it means the fans go a little crazy, it will settle down at some point.

Bayern knows that they will have to break the bank this season - they already told that they will when they have to. It is the position where you need really to put big money into as that what will leave is big in quality, too.

Bayern is in need of a new left winger. Robben and Ribery are somewhere at the end of their career. Costa probably will leave - but even with Costa you still have to take in account that because of the age and the injury problems that is not too many - especially when playing with 4 offensives what will probably happen more often next season.

Problem might be the wage more than the transfer sum.

Vidal might be a big factor in that who advertises a transfer to Bayern to Sanchez even openly in the press...

I do not know where he will go or if he really will leave. But if he wants trophies and if their can be made an agreement on the wage...

I do not know how good his relationship to Pep was - but I somehow do not think that getting a new left winger will be Pep's priority...

I'd sell Ribery if I were Bayer. Old and injury prone. Keep the younger guys.

Ribery is probably in his last one or two years of his career. He plays for Bayern since 10 years. He just needs to understand that he should not be playing always anymore - and that is difficult to tell him. In a lot matches he still is quality. His biggest quality is that he still is a very good playmaker with an eye for the special pass or assist - as there is Alaba who is able to go 1vs1 on the wing and cross, it totally matches.

Why keep Costa if you see that he is not that what you really need?

Robben does not show any decline. His "form" depends a lot on our own setup, if he has Müller and the fullback for help who do runs for him or offer him options and draw him defenders away - if there is "weight" on the other wing so the opponent does not concentrate just on him. But that is nothing that is new. He like every offensive player has days and periods in which their shooting is great and the ones when the goal is jinxed.

The left winger position is that what needs to be covered first. The right winger position - even if he will be another type of winger - Coman can grow into.

If the player prefers us then it'll boil down to what fee would Arsenal accept for him. Class player who will obviously improve us but in his last year of his contract, doubt we'd want to pay more than £40m (which I doubt Bayern would match).

I don't think it makes any difference to potential buyers that Sanchez is in the last year of his contract. That should only be a factor if only one club is interested in him, or he is only prepared to move to one particular club.

Sounds like an agent who wants more money from City

We did business with him last summer (he's Bravo's agent) and he has a good relationship with Pep from the Vidal transfer.

IMO he's working under the, correct, assumption that Arsenal will fight tooth and nail for Sanchez not to go to City which could, in theory, put his transfer at risk and lose said agent a lot of money.

It's a good sign that Sanchez still wants us though, so I'm hopeful.
