Arsenal were absolutely abject. I saw some fans afterwards accusing Wenger of sabotage which is one one level ridiculous but if someone had set out to sabotage Arsenal at Liverpool they could not have done a better job.
However not only were Arsenal poorly set-up their players failed to compete and you wonder what effect the contract disputes of major players has on their team morale. They might conclude that they would be better off selling such players however it's a bit late now. Arsenal are in total disarray. It wouldn't even surprise me if Wenger resigns. Can he face the prospect of another season and the vitriol that is going to head his way
