Ox doesn't even play Sanchez's position, ontop of being moved to CM/WB with them having Monreal/Kols/Gibbs/Bellerin for the position he currently plays

Jesus guys

that wasn't the point I'm making....selling two of their best players inside a week is the point i was making......there would be absolute carnage in the stands if that happens .......thats why i don't think it will...this will affect the ability of us to get sanchez I think

Nobody thinks they won't sell both because they'd be left short in one position.

People think they just won't sell two first team players 3 days before the window shuts.

So are they still after Lemar as well as just bagging Keita? No doubt asked Barca to keep the Coutinho deal on the low whilst they get things done.

Liverpool definitely a bit top heavy.

They don't get £75m for going in the round of 16.
Never understood this logic of what the CL money is worth, especially to the English teams. Real Madrid only got €89M and they won it. With the exchange rate where it is, Arsenal would be lucky to realise £35M from the CL. Sell Ox and Sanchez and they're covered for a while.

The Ox is worth less than Sanchez and in my opinion if Arsenal arent willing to let Ox leave on a free, and not just not leave on a free but sell to their hated London rivals instead, then I don't see how they can have any intention of keeping hold of Sanchez. They offered Ox £180k pw, it's says they were desperate for him to stay. 48 hours later they accept an offer from Chelsea. Put the right bid in and I am convinced Sanchez is ours.

Exactly.

Sanchez is ours mate. If Ox is going for £35m then I don't mind paying 60m for Sanchez. We will get it done, all the pressure is on Arsenal to sell.

The argument that keeping Sanchez is worth it if the get CL football is RIDICULOUS. They never gamble and won't gamble on keeping him to get top 4. It's a losing gamble because he didn't get them it last season and they will be much much worse off when they miss out on top 4, and Sanchez leaves for free.

Common sense.

Alexis welcome to Manchester. Our new number 9

If anything selling Chamberlain makes me more confident they'll let him go. He was an important player himself to Wengers system. He isn't the sort of player to kick up a fuss and he won't attract a huge fee. Whereas Sanchez will be visibly annoyed at his team when they lose which will be a lot and he can command a 70m fee. Can see Arsenal making some deadline day signings.

That would imply there was some sort of logic in place at Arsenal Football Club. The same logic that would make you think playing the same team that got battered 3-1 at Anfield last year would be a bad idea this year.

That same logic that should dictate that a £50m prolific striker would be more effective in place of Danny Welbeck falling over himself.

Fortunately for us, this may prove to eventually work in our favour. Arsene has lost it.
