I can't believe how so many of our fans have so little respect for the club, & what we have acheived, that they think we should go begging a player to sign for us, because fucking Utd come in with more money.

A 29 year old 'cheap' short term, signing, becomes a huge transfer deal, because he doesn't honour his word & we are supposed to step in & ask him to change his mind ?

No fucking chance.
It's just because it's united. If he was signing for Bayern or PSG tomorrow I think this thread would be very different. I'm easy either way really just as I was in the summer. If he comes, great, let's hope he significantly improves us in the immediate future but I really won't lose any sleep over not signing a player who is coming towards the last couple of years at the top. And we can now add 6 months of poor form into the mix that we didn't know about in the summer. I genuinely think there is every chance that this time next year we will see Sanchez punching the floor and shouting at his team mates at united just the same as he has done the last year at Arsenal. It's an out of the frying pan job for him in footballing terms.

Exactly. The club don't sign players on the same scattergun approach as the rags do nowadays, we don't need to! We are so far ahead on a recruitment basis it is staggering.

If a player becomes available at a good price and is a good fit, we will have enough in reserve to make it happen if we choose/the figures add up. But why would we fuck our whole financial plan to overpay because of another side?

We saw it with Pogba, VVD, Alves, etc.
To sign quality players at the market rate.
Financial plan is all well and good, but has meant we have missed out on excellent available players and really kicking on.
Sure all is in hand though.

How do you know that ? He might have asked us to match it, for all you know.

If he had stuck it out, we get him for 20 mil & have money to spend elsewhere.

He can FUCK OFF.

There would have been nothing to match if this was all done before the rags decided to try their luck. And of course he would ask us to match the offer once he received a better one. It's his job, he does this for money. He doesn't owe us anything, he already waited 6 months for us only to see us draw a line in the sand over the fee.

Peps no fool were not this far clear and playing the football we play by luck, if he doesn't want to get on the rollercoaster fuck him, I for one won't lose any sleep if he goes across town, if money means more than trophies I hope he's very happy playing second fiddle for years to come

Wouldn't just be KDB. We have a number of incredible players currently loving being at the club but could play for pretty much anyone else in the world if they so wished. The damage it could do on various levels to introduce a player on significantly higher wages at this point doesn't bear thinking about.

What we pay our players doesn't make a difference to the agent.

If KDBs agent knows what Sanchez can earn whilst in the PL, he will still demand similar. Also, it's more about the financial package a player receives rather than what they earn per week. You can bet your last pound that when all money is factored in, signing fee, bonuses etc, that KDB will be much closer to £400,000 a week than what he is reportedly currently earning. As will most of our top earners.

First time I've posted on this thread.

We obviously want Sanchez and losing out on him will be a big let down. There is a reason we have pursued him for the best part of 2 transfer windows.

If reports are to be believed and he has indeed gone to United, then that will be the third time he has chosen not to join us. Make of that what you will.

However, if he has chosen to sign for us then he will be a great addition to our squad.

It seems like guesswork from a lot sources and only time will tell where he ends up.
First time he chose prime Barca over us (newcomers to the modern big scene at the time), second time we thought we needed Mangala more than him and now we wouldn't pay the required sums. Hardly the player's fault.

With you on this .

It's one thing to claim the rags have beaten us to a signing but another to gloat we will get beat and you can say told you so.

Your problem is you are never around for anything positive, ever and only want to post your doom and gloom on here and it fucks everyone off, rightly so as well in my opinion.

What sort of blue says we are in for a double disappointment today?
Why he's never been fucked off before now remain's a mystery. Bloke's clearly a wum and as you have alluded to only appear's when negative news is abound

Hahahahahah 400k wage for a 29 years old.

35 Million for the transfer
10 Million for agents Fees
400K wage
+ destroying the whole wage structure and make people like de bruyne and aguero rage and also want 400k

U have to be insanely stupid to do this tranfer

The sort of blue who has an opinion but gets pissed off by the pack of dogs who can't accept that. I never said I would enjoy saying I told you so but it is tempting to when people have been such dicks over it beforehand.
