Alexis Sanchez

No mate. Quite the opposite. We can wait until deadline day. If Sanchez puts his TR in, and his agent makes it plain that he won't be a willing participant in their upcoming season and will sign for someone else in Jan on a free, then they'll do a deal on deadline day.

I shouldn't endorse schadenfreude, but the thought is almost too delicious for words. I'd even advocate completely low-balling them on deadline day, but wouldn't want to gamble everything on it!

I personally think Wenger will walk if the club sell Sanchez to City this window.

I am willing to bet a lot of money this doesn't happen. On the contrary, Wenger gets his jollies by bitching and moaning about everything that doesn't go exactly his way, and rationalizes daily for his lack of success. Giving him yet another excuse for failure -- and a good one -- is like sending lettuce by a rabbit.

Let's offer them Patrick Viera for Alexis. They get a new manager, we get the player we want.
Why in God's name would we send the poor bugger theŕe'?

It's my view that our board think very highly of him indeed. Highly enough, in my view, to offer him the managers job here after Pep skidaddles.

All this is he/isn't he coming to us just reminds me of all the nonsense that went on with nasri, clichy, adebayor and van persie plus also the way the kdb transfer panned out .
It's happening I'm telling thee, all this posturing and denying of rumours is all part and parcel of the way a transfer plays out.
Just sit back and enjoy the ride, we'll have Sanchez in the shirt before the week is out.

Ivan Gazidis (born 13 September 1964 in Johannesburg) is currently the chief executive of English Premier League club Arsenal Football Club.

Gazidis moved to Manchester in the United Kingdom at the age of 4 and attended Manchester Grammar School, where he excelled as a football player, and was also a gifted drummer playing in at least two school-based rock bands. Being an adopted Mancunian from a young age, he supported Manchester City.

Anyone really believe Sanchez will watch Ox force a move to a CL club and sit on his hands? If there hasn't been an official transfer request tonight, i'll be staggered if there isn't one by tomorrow night.

You must also look that a deal is still unlikely because of the time left. We literally have two days to close a deal of this size. Nothing happened today when everyone expected it to.
