It seems inevitable he will be leaving Arsenal; it's just a question of which club he will be joining.
If we were to somehow sign Sanchez and Aguero remained, our attacking options could look something like this:
De Bruyne
Sterling
Sane
B Silva
D Silva
Jesus
Aguero
Sanchez
Whilst I will no doubt be castigated again for stating as such, how on earth could we possibly accommodate all of those mentioned above?!
Unless of course Pep's masterplan next season is to win each game 16-13...
My guess:
4-1-2-3
...
--------------------------------------Bernardo/KDB/Silva---------Bernardo/KDB/Silva
Sterling/KDB/Bernardo/Sanchez?----------------------------------------------------------------Sane/Sanchez?/Jesus
--------------------------------------------------------Jesus/Aguero/Sanchez?
or with 3 at the back:
-----------------------------------------------------------GK
-----------------Walker?/Kompany--------Kompany/Otamendi/Stones----------New CB?/Mendy or Sandro?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Walker?/Sterling/Fern/Fabinho?------------------------Fern/Yaya/Gundogan/Fabinho?------------------------------Sane/Mendy or Sandro?
------------------------Bernardo/KDB/Silva----------------------------Bernardo/KDB/Silva
-------------Jesus/Aguero/Sterling/Sanchez?-------------------------Jesus/Aguero/Sterling/Sanchez?
In other words getting Sanchez would give us a selection problem but a good problem to have. Can't see us selling any of the other 7 to accommodate him, Pep likes to rotate so who knows. Don't forget with that squad we'd be going the distance in most comps, so they would be playing 60 games a season.
