So, yes, ManU are an upgrade to Arsenal - but playing for a defense first manager in a team 2 or 3 rebuilding years from success - plus the fact the Mourinho is almost guaranteed to self-destruct to the detriment of ManU before the rebuild finishes - crazy to join ManU if you want to play exciting football and win trophies.

The rumour about Pep talking to him today sounds odd.

If City pulled out last night as the briefing was after the game according to the 'bye' conversation with his agent reported when Pep learned he was talking to United then what would have made him talk to Sanchez today unless somebody told him there was a very good reason.

Because if that happened after yesterday's principled stand by the club if Pep did call Sanchez and he still follows the money that will be used against us big time as Sanchez turned Pep down rather than we having the moral high ground rightly so yesterday.

So it is hard to see that call being real unless there was a very good reason to think it was worth doing.

Ambitions yes - but what are Arsenal doing about it - other than selling their best player(s) in the Winter window?
