I still think that is based on many assuming Arsenal will just simply refuse to sell to a league rival.
I am not convinced Bayern - who are usually quite astute with their money - will spend £50m on a player who only has 1 year left on his contract and will also give him the reported £250k+ he wants in wages, which I am guessing would make him the highest paid player at Bayern.
I personally think Bayern are counting on Arsenal giving them Sanchez at a reasonable fee with them saying to Arsenal if you don't sell him to us you will lose him to City or Chelsea.
And wIll be 29. Next birthday.
