Girona aren't in the CL nor are they likely to be any time soon so there wouldn't be any penalties as far as FFP is concerned.

Do you think people may smell a rat of Girona came in with a £60m bid? Could work if not.

We'll never know for sure but Yeah I do. Wenger wouldn't have been able to bury his head in the sand and keep stating that Sanchez was happy, and they'd have been looking for a replacement a lot sooner than the morning of the deadline day
