Not that great to be honest, final ball was hit and miss and chose the wrong option at times. But he didnt have much quality movement in front of him to play the ball to in all honesty
In our system, he'd be the one moving around. So it might be different. Thought he was not that great too. But hopefully if he comes

You can see he's literally trying to do it all on his own. I'd want to see how he plays in a team that's competent.

How did he play today
I thought he played well and was one of Arsenal's better performers. Arsenal dominated ManUre, BUT they came up against a 5 man defence and a 4 man midfield of giants who camped on the edge of their own 18 yard box.

There was no space for anyone tbh, as ManUre just played on the counter after getting 2 break away goals in the first 11 minutes. Sanchez was tricky, skilful, kept the ball well & was creative too. However when he attempted to play balls into ManUre's congested penalty area, the pass was met by 10 giants whether he played the ball low or high.

Arsenal were behind, so being the home team the onus was on them to get back into the game, but they just couldn't get past the bus that Moureen reversed parked in front of their goal as soon as they were 2 up after 20 minutes. The only ManUre player who wasn't involved was Lukaku. He was stood on the halfway line keeping Koscielny occupied.

Arsenal's all out attack mode trying to get themselves back on level terms, left them open to the counter, which is exactly how the decisive third goal was scored. The one goal Arsenal did score came from Sanchez winning the ball, swivelling past 2 ManUre players, then chipping the ball over their defence to Ramsey who side footed to Lacazette, who shot and beat De Gea.

For anyone saying Sanchez didn't play well, hopefully can they tell you which Arsenal player did played better? How ManUre defended was a consummate lesson in desperate, last ditched defending at its very best. Added to the fact that De Gea had the goal keeping game of the season so far, hopefully you can get a picture of how the game went.

Yeah I agree with this for Arsenal to get as many shots away as they did either they must have played well (attacking wise, they were shocking defensively) or Utd defended poorly. I thought until Utd went to 10 players Arsenals attack was inventive and fast paced and very unlucky in meeting a 'keeper in top form . I though Sanchez and Ozil both played well.
Sanchez did though play the sloppy pass that lead to Rags third goal.

Yep agree Dax...i think he would excel in our team. Last night he wasnt great, he was dropping slightly deeper trying to thread that ball through to the box but united suffocated that area and arsenals movement in the box was really poor.

When they had the advantage of the extra man they just failed to exploit it, even in the most basic way which would be overlapping out wide. Really poor decision making in the final third from the whoke arsenal team. Please ket it be true that united are seriously looking at mesut ozil because his a liability when not with the ball, him and pogbad in a midfield would be disastrous but funny to watch

Every time I watch him he gives the ball away over 10 times with absolute shit passing.

Because he tries something special. If his team mates were on the same wavelength, you'd have a Guardiola-like team.
I’m not having that. No need to try the special pass every single time you have the ball. It doesn’t work like that. Look at Uniteds third goal I’m sure it was him who lost possession for that.

It happens. I've seen our 'Special players' misplace a pass which leads to a goal, do what's the alternative? Do a Moureen instead?
