yes, but we're sorting out our business now for January, we've sent the ultimatum to Arsenal, if you want any cash you come cap in hand to us, we're not making a bid.
That's one way of looking at it. Another way is 'This is what we need, so let's go & get him for the best price possible to help turn our season into a successful one.'

As it stands, we've won squat, so I would imagine our stance is one of doing what is best for Manchester City, & not one of trying to out do Arsenal. However, this doesn't mean we're about to bend over & assume the position, whilst we lube up waiting for Arsenal to stiff us up the shitter. Far from it.

Our needs must, & should always be paramount. We had to do this at the beginning of Sheikh Mansour's ownership, whereby as soon as it was mentioned City were interested, the quoted price doubled, as did the wages being asked for.

We had no choice bit to comply, BUT it was a means to our end, albeit they placed the hurdle of FFP in our way to halt our progress.

You say we've sent the ultimatum to Arsenal, but today Pep said everything he's heard has been fabricated by the media. That's why I don't get twisted about these things & just place my trust in Pep & co.

Mate, we’re winning the league regardless of if we sign sanchez or not. That’s probably why we’ll wait till the summer. Use the sanchez money we had to sign a Cm or VVD.
There are more points still to be won in the league than we currently have, so who says we're winning the league regardless?

I think there's another 19 teams who are yet to have a say on who wins the league.

Didn't look overy excited about scoring.

The man clearly is unhappy.
Whilst I do believe he does not want to be there, he's hardly gonna celebrate like mad when his team is still losing at home and that was their first shot on target.

Get the ball and kick off again, standard.

Thought he plaged great last night.

Under Pep he will be 10x's better.

As we all know, he's not CL tied either.

The only issue for me is, will has arrival disrupt an already winning side, as somebody will have to make way for him, and will he be happy not playing every match?

I personally think he will be a replacement for Serg.(unfortunately) I can see Serg getting a cut price-ish move to Real in the Summer as a golden goodbye. I don't think Serg will want to spend another season not playing in every game and being rotated by a Pep.

I must have watched a different game then as I thought he was terrible. Only touched the ball 63 times but managed to give it away 27 times apparently, that's losing the ball almost every second touch. He's been doing that all season as well, if he wants to play for us then he's going to have to massively improve his ability to keep the ball

Tbf though, several of those balls were difficult forward attacking passes in an attempt to create momentum.

There just seemed to be no-one else on his wavelength & that first half was as poor an Arsenal performance as I can remember for years. They played better at Anfield this season, when they got soundly beaten.

Sanchez did play several errant passes, but did he play worse than any other Arsenal player? On another note, Arsenal's young left back looks useful.... :-)
