Then again, wouldn’t expect him to be so chirpy if he knew Sanchez was off?

True but perhaps it was a wry smile of resignation and one where he was happy as he believes he has screwed as much money out of us as possible.
But it does look like we have landed their best player. A truly world class player to add to our team. Why else would you rest such an important player in the only completion you realistically have a chance of winning. ?
Unless he is off elsewhere!

We left Aguero on the bench and it meant nothing. If there was any deal close Arsenal would not waste a sub they dont plan to play.
He will get time.
Hope he is imminent but don't see how this means he is for sure.

At this point it seems that the transfer depends more on Arsenal looking for a replacement for Alexis.

When asked if he could still come off the bench he said yes he could and he was focussed! .
