Always thought Sánchez is a bit of an upmarket Dickov. What put me off him was the ridiculous hiking up of his shorts. Actually think he likes being the star of the team as he has been with Chile and Arsenal. Certainly won't be if he joins us.

Because I think that's the only reason we have bid for him. Too difficult to get a top forward at this moment so he's cover for Aguero/Jesus. for me this deal would not have happened but for the injury to Jesus

I don't understand the mass need for heist getting him in jan, the only positive of getting him in now is he is a fantastic player who could boost our CL hopes and FA cup and squad in general. In terms of the league realistically are we going to drop 15 points? probably not. Yes players like Leroy have had a drop in form of late, but I don't see the need (other than stopping other teams signing him) to get him in Jan
