The flapping is fantastically impressive. Does he want to go to City and play under Guardiola to win trophies? That's pretty much all that matters. Outside of that, if he wants to go for money, then he can do, and good luck to him. But if he does, then I doubt City would lose too much sleep over him, as he's not the kind of player they want. He'll hardly be poor if he goes to City, so it's entirely up to him.

If he comes, great. If he goes elsewhere, fine. No reason for all the toys to be thrown out of the pram.

All spot on but he wants out now and can he wait till summer, I’m not sure he can. Yes he wants city but that doesn’t mean he will get it. The fans have turned on him and that must not only hurt him but piss him right off.

Arsenal have shown they are prepared to loose him for nothing in summer I just can’t see him staying beyond jan and Liverpool offer a viable and only option if he wants out now. I would be amazed if they are not in for him.

Either way it will surely be settled before Monday.

If the player desperately wants to play for Pep then I would find it bizarre if he was to sign for someone else just because Arsenal potentially making him wait until the end of the season. It would be extraordinarily short sighted for a player who could have probably got out of Arsenal and gone to PSG last summer and on more money than we would offer but didn't. I'm sure he'd rather leave them now but I don't think for one minute he'd make his decision on the basis of having to wait a few months.

1. anything up to 40mil and he's cheap.
2. he can cover jesus/sergio, Sane or Sterling - so gives us wonderful options.
3. he seems to want to play for Pep, having not shown interested in Bayern and PSG
4. Pep wants him - we wouldn't have bid at the start of the season if he didn't

True enough. But this isn't City of 2009, who had to persuade people to come. Players want to come and be a part of it now. Those that don't, well, it's a shrug from me. I suspect he will though.
