Not really.

If they don't want to sell him this window then they won't. Same for any club and any player really.

Ok yes fair enough, if they say they want him to stay for the season they can, but they will have a player who is even more angry and disruptive to his teammates. Unlikely, but with Wenger, you never know.

But they will not sell him to United because they want Mhikitaryan if Sanchez doesn't also agree to it. They will not sell him to Liverpool, unless he agrees to it.
If he agrees to that, then fine he's a 29 yo footballer with a couple of top years left in him, cant stop us winning the league, cant stop us winning the league cup, unlikely to directly result in us not winning the champs league.

The end result of this can not be a bad thing for City.

When United beat us to van Persie it was short sighted as he wasn't the right player for them long term and eventually we have gotten the better of them.
The same will happen here. Except we're starting much further ahead.

Still 1.33 on betfair. 1.91 on skybet. Are sky just trying to take money from the rags?.

Totally wrong that they have a 24 news channel that advertises the betting part of sky. Too easy for them to manipulate the market

for christs sake City, get him signed.

1. anything up to 40mil and he's cheap.
2. he can cover jesus/sergio, Sane or Sterling - so gives us wonderful options.
3. he seems to want to play for Pep, having not shown interested in Bayern and PSG
4. Pep wants him - we wouldn't have bid at the start of the season if he didn't

and more importantly, this thread is heading for 4000 pages.

I don't expect any significant developments until deadline day, and I don't expect it to end in anything but anticlimax. He'll probably turn up in July and we'll never know if having him would've helped us win more this season.

Not if we win all 4 without him.

The flapping is fantastically impressive. Does he want to go to City and play under Guardiola to win trophies? That's pretty much all that matters. Outside of that, if he wants to go for money, then he can do, and good luck to him. But if he does, then I doubt City would lose too much sleep over him, as he's not the kind of player they want. He'll hardly be poor if he goes to City, so it's entirely up to him.

If he comes, great. If he goes elsewhere, fine. No reason for all the toys to be thrown out of the pram.
