Maybe we’ve decided the midfielder is more important at the moment, hence the gossip about Fred and Seri?
If Fred rocks up in this window I'll be more than happy.

We will agree to disagree then.He going to be top level for the next 3 years mate...and if still is at top level, we extend. Better to have proven prem world class forward for 3 years and plan for him leaving than overpaying in the summer because we'd get more years out of someone. The squad is always moving and so is the market. Couple of years, this 300-400k a week will be the norm for world class players...imho!;)
If he signs, will you leave the forum and never come back? If your so sure...The Pep factor counted for nothing in the end, and it seems Buster Bloodvessel has changed his tune.
Apologies accepted.
We won't find a better player for a smaller financial outlay. So ultimately we've made the wrong call imo.

Wouldn't just be KDB. We have a number of incredible players currently loving being at the club but could play for pretty much anyone else in the world if they so wished. The damage it could do on various levels to introduce a player on significantly higher wages at this point doesn't bear thinking about. This is what I think people are forgetting. It’s okay paying Sanchez what he wants, but what happens when KDB comes knocking on the door asking for a rise?
