Let United have him. There are enough good players out there. If they pay 400k/week for him it will hurt them in the end. Every agent from now on will use this as an entry point for negotiations with United.

If Sanchez had held his end of the bargain up(as he should have because he had agreed terms) then City could afford to lowball Arsenal. The whole point is that Sanchez has decided to try and play off City with United to force City to increase terms while still hoping that City would cave in, thereby giving Sanchez the best of both worlds. City quite rightly, have refused to have a gun held to their heads by refusing to pay more money, thereby calling his bluff and leaving him with a decision to make and now apparently fucking him off altogether. Well done City for standing firm and sending out the message to any smartarse in the future that we won't be fucked about.

Yeah, were currently 3rd. You can never tell, but we do seem to have a better crop this season than usual. I just watched the movie '89' about our title win in 1989 beating Liverpool at Anfield with a last gasp second goal to secure the title. That was mainly a side of home grown players and I'd like to see something like that again, unlikely as it may seem in this world of mega stars and mega money.

Exactly mate, posted the exact same earlier on this evening. He’s tried to be clever and ended up looking like he’s going to have to join a club purely for the money, not the end of the world obviously but pretty sure trophies and beautiful football would have been important to him too, he’s just fucked that part up. I understand what you are saying. It is just that I believe Sanchez agreed to wait for us until the summer, deal agreed in principal, sanchez giving his word to Pep. Because we have released a statement saying Sanchez strongly indicated we were his choice. The injury to Jesus made us look to him this month and all of a sudden Sanchez and his agent decide they want better terms
