I know it’s been done to death and Pep has clarified , but there’s a bit of me that wonders if the suits at the swamp didn’t expect the outcome they have got? I wonder if they shoved a huge wedge in front of Sanchez/agent expecting to just scare us into matching it and thereby derail our deals in the summer (with regard to PL ffpr wages) and destabilise the current squad?

The thought has crossed my mind

No, I don’t believe you are. However Arsen is. He talks for your club so we take his utterances at face value.

I love Arsene for what he made us

I'm disappointed in him for not realising he's now taking us down

I'm no apologist for Wenger, nor am I a supporter

I don't care anymore where we end up but it's my team, right or wrong.

You Mancs get that, don't you?

Somthing is just not right with all of this, I just doesn't feel right.

Machiavelli lives!

Pep: "We’ve spent a lot of money, we can’t deny that. But my period at Barça, at Bayern Munich and now here, I never pushed or pressured the club to say ‘I want those players’ when the club believes and says it’s too much. The stability of the club is the most important thing."

Very specific dig at Jose there... lets see if he bites on that one. You can tell Pep's bothered by the situation but not overly so as hes talking about it with a lot of sense and calmness. Always very open and honest in the media is Pep. Do love the man for it
