I don't want to go off topic too much as Fantasyireland is always on my case about that. But Pep didn't say we needed a "Saviour Centerhalf." Many just read that into his comment coz that's what they believe. As for Sanchez, it seems Pep genuinely wants him...And strangely enough, one who said it was Pep Guardiola.

I do think he does. But what I enjoy about Marvin is the matter of fact manner of his position. He is not there to insult or dismiss. States his beliefs calmly even though he understands they are sometimes unpopular. Did you actually watch us last year? When we had no Vince our central defence was a car crash, not one of the 3 partnerships between Stones, Nico and AK looked in the slightest bit solid.
