Alexis will be in no rush he is on holiday for the next couple of weeks, so can't see any movement before he returns, don't see him going on our usa tour.

This Lacazette transfer probably has little to no influence on Arsenal's willingness to sell Sanchez to us. They probably hoped to have Mahrez/Lemar in sooner; maybe that's what this 'snag' is?

If anything this is good news to us, this is Sanchez making his moves. The article said that Sanchez is going to 'honor' his contract which means he's planning to play it out. Meanwhile Arsenal through Ornstein has been adamant about selling him if he doesn't extend his contract. He's just saying that he'll play out his contract and NOT extending with Arsenal which is what we don't want. If anything by doing this it will push Arsenal to sell him this summer knowing he's planning on playing his contract out and not sign an extension. If Sanchez does sign a new contract with Arsenal then we can drop this, lock this thread, and move on to other targets. But until then, I think it's still on.

The Option of Sane, Gab Jesus, Aguero, Sanchez, B Silva, and Sterling excites me much more than having kelechi, Navas or nolito waiting in the wings. So If one of those guys are sat on the bench for a bit, feeling a bit miffed, I couldn't give a t0ss.

Theres certainly a need for another natural goalscorer in the squad from what I witnessed last season, whether it be Sanchez or somebody else, that was obvious. Sure the rest will chip in, especially Kev but Two isn't enough with possible Injuries & 50/60 games next season. And as others have rightly stated, having Sanchez in the squad would take the pressure off and would only benefit the likes of Sterling & Sane.
