That's put much better, hasn't had the same impact as when he first arrived. If you're saying its because you haven't had the same end product it would suggest Aguero isn't as good as he once was which is also a fair point.

No I agree, hence why Kante was nominated. I'm just saying lads, if Aguero and Silva truly had their best ever seasons in city shirts last season they would've at least been nominated to be the PFA player of the year. They've been nominated other times in the past 5 seasons when they've had their true best seasons in City shirts.
those awards have always been skewed towards a popularity contest or who's flavour of the month though. Aguero's never won it yet he's widely accepted as being the best striker the league has seen in the last 5/6 years. It's also heavily reliant on how well the team has done that season. Citys season was seen as quite underwhelming and it's a fair comment and with nobody standing out to say they carried the team there's no chance any player will get nominated. For the record, i don't think any of our players should have won it, it's arguable a few could have made the list, especially Silva but this past season i have no complaints with them not making it. Silva though, has been criminally underrated ever since he signed for City. Pep has already said he's as good as Iniesta/xavi, if he played for Barca he'd be regarded a lot higher.

He's playing as a number 8 and not a number 10 and his impact is just as much. Questions were asked of Aguero last season, as in is he dropping off? Does he suit Pep's system?
He briefly lost his place following a minor injury but when reinstated to the starting XI answered them questions and then some.
He scored 9 in his last 14 league appearances and struck up a great understanding with Jesus on his return from injury, early days but it seems to be a better chemistry than he's had with any other City player before.

Ozil won our player of the year award in 15/16 and was irrelevant after January? It means nothing who wins the individual award.
