its only wages FROM THE NEW TV DEAL.
Even David ornstein has reported that arsenal now have to balance the books mate? He's gospel on arsenal stuff as well!

Yes, we make 3m a home match, and weve been selling our best players for a decade, as you should know, all these are not included in the 7m, the 7m is only to do with the TV deal.
This new rule has been very poorly reported, and interestingly only mentioned when Arsenal were trying to sign players.
The 7m cap is on the new TV deal income, so basically you are only allowed to spend 7m more from the TV income, on wages.
Nothing to do with gate money, prize money, commercial revenue, player sales. Its pretty much irrelevant.
Otherwise, you wouldnt be able to sign Sanchez, Bernardo Silva, Kyle walker, the goal keeper, and only add 7m in wages?
or Everton signing all these players, or Liverpool, pretty much every team's wage bill next season will be more than 7m higher than this, you can clearly see that using common sense.
Unless there is a special rule that only applies to Arsenal, as the papers seem to insist.
Is this the £200m that's cash in the bank as it's actually £100m and that's just gonna get wiped out this season with no champions league

The champions league only makes us 40m, Its not as big a deal as it is in other countries.
1 signing and now Arsenal are limited with what they can do, based on what Sanchez, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Ozil decide to do. Probably in terms of squad space and wage ffp.
Are you sure? The champions league only makes us 40m, Its not as big a deal as it is in other countries.
Champions league makes much more than £40m that is just the prize money you can double it to get the actual figure
its only wages FROM THE NEW TV DEAL.

Hey cant hear you. That new tv deal that kicks in the season with a down payment to Arsenal of 200m[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

So you dont think sponsors pay more when sponsor a team in CL? Come on you know your are wrong.Yes, based on getting to the last 16 of CL, which is what we do, its 40m a season. Obviously youll get more if you win it, but I never bothered to find out.
In other countries, where the Tv deal is 1m, like Scotland, if you can get 40m there youre pretty much ruling the league for years. In England, you get far less from CL than Sunderland got for getting relegated.
That's what I thoughtTurns out bombing out in he last 16 every season lints the profitability.
We earned more than double that last season (15/16)
We got £90m the other season at the semi-final stageYes, based on getting to the last 16 of CL, which is what we do, its 40m a season. Obviously youll get more if you win it, but I never bothered to find out.

It seems we were bidding for Lemar so must have some wiggle room. We do have too bloated a squad, and need to concentrate on shifting people out the door. Szcezney, Ospina, Debuchy, Jenkinson, Gibbs, Joel Campbell, Lucas, Akpom all need to find new clubs, decisions made over the likes of Ox, Wilshere, Walcott, Giroud etc. Lots can be done in terms of creating space for new contracts.

Fair enough at least you're honestYeh, you were one game away from the final. You dont get that when youre out in the last 16.
Hopefully you have the same problem with shifting your deadwood as we do!There are about 15 players that id like to get rid of. Pretty much everyone you mentioned, and a few more.
