I cant see him ever refusing to play. Its got nothing to do with the world cup, hes got about 4 years left in the game, wont sit one of them out.
Id still rather take 80m for him than lose him for free next summer. 80m is a lot of money. 50m seems a bit low.

There's a fact you guys have to get used to. That Arsenal fans and Arsenal's top brass aren't the same. For example if it was up to the fans to decide whether to sell or keep Sanchez I'm certain they will never sell. Unfortunately for Arsenal this is not the case. Arsenal fans seemed very certain that they wouldn't sell to City a while back but now they'd only sell for a crazy sum. Unfortunately again thats the position of the Arsenal faithful when its likely that the board have already concluded this deal. Arsenal fans want the best for the club above every other consideration but they have zero say in matters such as these.

We ll see how it plays out, whether he will go and for what price. Hopefully it doesn't drag on till September but I can't see it being done in the next week as some are saying.

Because he only cares about himself he ll play well wherever he is, and wont effectively go on strike.

Players down the tools all the time. They really don't need to make it very obuoys. Costa, Hazard after the female doctor fiasco, Fabregas, Mahrez, Vardy, etc. They just don't work hard anymore and intentionally get disinterested with the goal of seeing the team suffer.
