I have never understood this comparison between Alexis and Kun.

One is a number 9 and the other a wide forward, why would one or the other replace each other?

The guy who just tweeted they Sanchez will end up at city.

Can Sanchez not just buy his contract out from Arsenal under "The Webster Ruling". That would solve everything surely..........or am I missing something?

He can't and even if he could City would go nowhere near him if he did it's shady af no football club wants to have anything to do with it.

alexis has better statistics than aguero in premier league. yeah many claim that losing aguero and signing sanches keeps city same but they forget that alexis can play in pep style especially as false 9 however aguero is struggling and that why he lost his place to jesus. also aguero is injury prone but alexis is not.

Aguero has the best goals per minute ratio in PL history. Sanchez will have better stats at other aspects of the game so you can argue you one way or another but it's not clear cut.

Kun is here to dominate next season, if we get Alexis, even better. Can't see Kun going anywhere. He's a goal machine here.

To buy out your contract I think there has to be certain rules in place. You have to play less than a certain % of games and inform the club within a certain time before the end of the season.

Just read up on that Webster ruling and there's a lot of uncertainties around compensation and it could be a proper arse ache, something I don't think we'd want to get ourselves involved in.

He's a French journalist from France Football and all the L'Equipe
What are his credentials?
He is just a PSG fan
that "fan" is relaying the information from the earlier REAL reporter out of Paris Nabil Djellit. That's why he wrote that Alexis is going to City. Bayern already said no again and he's priced himself out of PSG because of the heavy tax. It only leaves us.

Thanks for that.

Look my analysis is this:

Wenger has 2 years left to cement his legacy. He wants to win the title. He is not going to strengthen City whilst weakening Arsenal that's just lunacy,

If Sanchez goes it will be to a Bayern or PSG.

And Sanchez goes nowhere until we get another marquee signing

Got it?

Legacy? You were flying planes over the stadium and having Wenger out parties all over the world.
You won't be winning the league again for a long time. Got it?

Are PSG and Bayern sniffing around this story? I know there's talk of Sanchez wanting to play for Pep, but that didn't stop Alves.

Cement his legacy.

So the French economist will let the £50m asset sulk on the sidelines for 8 months before leaving on a free.

Utility function is clearly wasted on you.
