Arsenal qualifying for the CL next season is worth more or less around what they will get for selling Sanchez this season. With Sanchez in their Team, they stand a better chance of qualifying. If Wenger wants to keep the fans on side, they need a solid top 4 finish this season and they need Sanchez in their team. You can certainly see it from an Arsenal perspective.

Sanchez would give us options, and he would certainly be an upgrade on Sterling. But then Sanchez is in his late 20's and in his prime; Sterling is yet to reach his peak. I really don't think the options he brings would be worth the outlay (£50-60m +wages & extra's).

I still dont think we need Sanchez, we have enough firepower up front and tbh his attitude has been shite towards Arsenal, we dont need that at City

I don't think two recognised strikers is anywhere near enough, so we need someone to replace Kelechi at least.

I don't have an issue with someone expressing his desire to win. It's only his lazy teammates causing his concern, and probably a lack of investment from the club is affecting him too.

We've moved Nolito on, Kelechi is about to leave and one of our main "attacking" subs last season was Navas who has also left. We need another forward whether it's Sanchez or someone else.

We have two in Aguero and Jesus, plus Sterling, Sane and KDB can play there if necessary. We have bucket loads of options up front

Whetever happens arsenal are not in a good position, I think we co
What I don't get is that the Arsenal fans on here are all questioning Sanchez's desire - saying he's sulking and seen his arse, because he wants the move – yet they all say the club will not let him leave and they seem to think Sanchez will think that's ok and put his heart into playing for them again!

If we keep him its out of desperation, we dont believe we are strong enough to replace an unhappy Sanchez. Its not a good position to be in, Id prefer to get Mahrez and Lemar in, but if thats not possible, then we cant just sell Sanchez and drop further down the table. I think he ll give everything while hes on a football field, and will be great for any team, wont doubt his ability just because he wants to leave. We just dont have the tools to cope without him, maybe with a season to prepare for his departure , we ll be in a better place next summer (especially if we are back in CL). The money is insignificant , unless it reaches ridiculous proportions.

I certainly wouldn't say a bucket load of options, because without additional players, we would start with fewer options than last season. Goals from chances created were a problem last season, even Pep said this needs addressing, which is why I hope we sign another striker.

I'm not having that. Nothing wrong with his attitude. If they had 10 more players like him they'd walk the league. He is a winner and can't be doing with weak players who are bottlers i.e. Nearly every other arse player

I totally agree, I would love him and his attitude in our team, he certainly wouldn't take his foot off of the pedal.

Well if it needs addressing then they need to train more. There are only so many forwards you can get into a team at the same time
Aguero and Jesus are world class strikers who will bag an incredible amount of goals this season
If they're not sticking chances away then they need more practice on the training pitch

My point is Wenger is a clever bloke (no matter how delusional he may be at times) but in all the years he has been very particular in the way he words his quote, "it is my belief....." "I feel that he will want.....". He never speaks on behalf of the club, just himself and in doing so never lies about what is actually happening at the club. He knows damn well Sanchez wants out, knows the club are trying to spin it as positively as possible, knows they are doing everything they can in bringing in cheaper alternatives but can always have peace in his own mind as he never wanted any of the umpteen guys to leave (who would want your best players to leave). I honestly believe Sanchez is nailed on. He will return to training this week and Arsenal will tell him he has to go public that he wants a move so we can give all the fans around the premier league someone else to boo (except VVD who is ok for going on strike as he wants to play for Liverpool)

Bang on. I wouldn't want our players celebrating a 3-3 against Bournemouth either! No wonder he looked miserable all the time he wants to win everything and so does our club.

I think the pressure on Wenger is different this time, the philosophical approach was ok when the fans still remembered all the great things he did, now they only remember his mistakes and selling sanchez will set the tone for the season. Though he may believe that he can adequately replace him, its a big decision either way, and wont be driven by 50m.
I think he will stay, but wont be shocked at all if you were right and he moves in the next couple of weeks.

He has made it fkin obvious he dont want to play there, very professional! You dontn think he would do the same to City if for example he doesnt play where he wants to? Not worth the £70m risk imo. He might be a winner, but he isnt a winner for his team is he

He's made it obvious he wants to be in a team of winners, playing for the top trophies. He gives 100% each and every time he puts on the shirt, the same cant be said for his current team mates.

He is 28,time is running out,he is showing nothing but ambition, that doesnt equate to a bad attitude - quite the opposite.

Pissed off with his team mates for not pulling their weight and not afraid to let them know, we could use a bit of that.
Absolutely, they should wash that shit in private though. Imagine he behaved that way at City. Little digs at the manager, at the club, his team mates, trying to engineer a move away from the club... its shite way to behave

He made probably the biggest contribution I've ever seen a single man make to them winning the FA cup though, that's definitely a winner for his team. Whilst he is making a fuss about leaving now, I still think he is a professional guy. If they don't sell him he will still be in the first team all season giving it his all - he'll just leave on a free in the summer.

This spat is just because he has given them his all and feels he has done his time at a club that are seemingly incapable of matching his ambition, despite having ample resources to do so. People say all sorts about city, but I don't think anyone could question our ambition.

Difference is that if he tried that shit with us I believe we would want the cnut out of the club, not be desperately clinging hold of him!

Sorry mate, you've lost me, I don't pay much heed to the bollox in the media so I'm not aware of these little digs.

I'm just basing my opinion on what I've seen of him on the pitch.
