There is no way Sanchez will play on Sunday, regardless of his future. In fact, Arsenal will be lucky if he plays the first game of the league season. He's played in an international tournament, had no pre-season, the flu and no time to train with his new teammates

I would agree with Tolmie. 12 months from now the new players bedded in so harder to leave them out of games. Diaz and Foden 12 months older and closer to the finished article and probably other areas rather than midfield that need strengthening.

Simply because he is someone that would be available, happy to play back up role, good recent record, Leicester have had their day, he's lightning quick, relatively cheap, will score plenty from the chances he'd get.

There are others of course, but he's the sort we should be looking at as a back-up to missing out on Sanchez. Proven in Premier League to tide us over til ne t summer.

I dont think Wenger can leave him out, if he wants to keep Sanchez happy he has to play him every game. Not playing football for Sanchez would be much worse than not playing in CL.

I reckon if he plays then that's the end to this saga. he needs to force a move now or it wont happen. And if he plays, then clearly he hasn't forced the issue.

Arsenal are happy as things stand. If Sanchez wants to play at City he needs to make it known to Wenger/Arsenal. It wont happen otherwise

That is assuming we are in for him. There's still no bid after all these months. There's actually more evidence that we're in for Mbappe than there is Sanchez
